Tom Sweeney — Tom is the 2019 NARI MN Member of the Year. In the language of our clients, he is Content Craftsmen’s general contractor. He spent more than 25 years in national home improvement publishing as an editor and publisher before launching Content Craftsmen in 2008. Tom began to focus on supporting remodeling contractors in early 2013. He is responsible for media relations, digital content strategy, writing, editing, video, and basic photography.
Tom is known for creating winning Contractor of the Year (CotY) entries, personalizing clients’ websites to connect with prospects and increasing online reviews. He also specializes in repackaging content for maximum value.
Content Craftsmen team members aren’t just accomplished professionals in their specialty areas. They also are Tom’s long, trusted friends. This enhances communication and reliability on every project.
Pat O’Loughlin – Pat and Tom have shared their passion for traditional music for more than a decade. Catch Pat on his concertina and Tom on his fiddle at the Keegan’s Pub trad session in Minneapolis on Sunday evenings. Between tunes, Pat operates his own professional photography business and shoots project photos for Content Craftsmen clients.
Pat is experienced at photographing both people and architecture. He is known for his efficient approach to shooting and editing.
Phil Wilson – Tom met Phil in 2008 through the Minneapolis Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA). They briefly worked together in digital media sales and then Phil served on the board of Tom’s nonprofit, Visiting Ours. Phil is founder of Hyper IQ, which he sold to BuzzFeed, and RemainComm. He directs web design and development for Content Craftsmen projects. Whether contractor clients need a whole new website or just to add a new page or feature to an existing website, Phil will work with Tom to get it done.
